When grief and exhaustion collide – How Phosphoric Acid can lift the weight 💛
A real life case study
Some years hit harder than anything we could have imagined. For one woman I worked with, this year was that year. She faced loss, betrayal, a house move, life demands that seemed endless - and the kind of exhaustion that seeps into your bones. By the time she reached out, she described herself as being in a “pit of despair” physically exhausted and emotionally numb to everything she loved.
Her body had begun to show the strain of carrying so much grief. She had taken to her bed for days (something she would NEVER do), physically collapsed, unable to move, to eat, or to face even the simplest tasks. She was surviving, but just barely.
This is the space where grief and exhaustion collide. It’s heavy, hollow, and often silent. Friends and family didn’t see it in the beginning, because she was still “functioning” on the surface. But inside, she felt like she was drowning in emptiness.
