a woman getting her teeth checked by a dentist

I recently took my 17-year-old daughter to the dentist. She’d previously had a cavity filled that was still causing her discomfort, which - in typical teenage style - she only told me about after suffering in silence for several days!

Usually Mum-the Homeopath is the first person she calls for at the first sign of any pain or discomfort. But it hadn't occurred to her that I might be able to help with something like a dental issue too.

At the dental surgery, the dentist examined her and said he thought she had an infection and initially recommended a root canal. My response was a swift and immediate, “NO.” So what did I prescribe - and what happened next? Keep reading to find out.
