Pelvic organ prolapse is one of those conditions that too many women silently carry.
It can feel heavy, frightening, and deeply personal - not just as a physical change, but something that touches our identity as women, mothers, partners, and whole beings.
An estimated 50% of women experience some degree of prolapse during their lifetime. Vaginal childbirth is a risk factor for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and its prevalence increases with age and menopause, as oestrogen and progesterone levels drop.
What I have learned, both personally and through working with clients, is that prolapse is not the end of strength or womanhood. It can be the beginning of a new chapter - one that invites us to slow down, listen, and receive deep healing. And homeopathy can be a powerful part of that journey.
Case Stories of Healing
I want to share a few women’s stories (with details changed for privacy) to show how prolapse can shift when we work at both the physical and emotional levels with remedies.
Case 1: The Weight Lifted
A mother of four came to me, tearful and exhausted. She described the sensation of "everything falling out" whenever she stood too long. She also carried years of unexpressed grief after multiple losses. Her remedy was Sepia - the classic prolapse remedy, especially for women who feel drained, irritable, and better when they can just be left alone.
Within weeks, she reported: “It feels lighter. I can walk again without constantly worrying.” As her vitality returned, she found joy in moving her body again.
