If I had to choose any approach to healing, Homeopathy is always my preference.
As a qualified Homeopath for over 16 years, and someone who has used Homeopathy for 24 years now - where has the time gone! - I’ve had the privilege of seeing these magic pills turn acute illnesses around in record time and resolve long standing chronic complaints that other modalities and conventional medicine, haven’t been able to touch.
I’m fascinated by the different ways we can support our wellbeing and the body’s ability to maintain and restore its natural balance.
Homeopathy has been at the heart of my work for many years, and I love exploring the principles behind it, understanding individual health patterns and looking at the person as a whole rather than simply focusing on a symptom.
But I’m also curious about what’s happening beyond the world of Homeopathy.
Recently, I’ve been exploring PEMF therapy, which stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. And it’s opened up a much bigger conversation about the various therapies that use frequencies, energy, light, sound and vibration.
What do we mean by frequency-based therapy?
The word frequency gets used quite a lot in the wellness world, sometimes in ways that can be confusing.
In physics, frequency simply describes how often something repeats over a period of time. Sound waves, light waves and electromagnetic fields can all be described in terms of frequency.
Our bodies also rely on complex electrical and electrochemical processes. Nerve cells communicate through electrical signals, muscles respond to electrical stimulation, and cells depend on carefully regulated movement of ions across their membranes.
So, it makes sense that different physical inputs, including electromagnetic fields, light and sound, can interact with biological systems.
Five approaches worth knowing about
There are many therapies being explored in this space. Here are five that I find particularly interesting.
1. PEMF therapy: Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields
2. Red light therapy: Working with light
3. Sound healing: The power of vibration
4. Electrotherapy: Using controlled electrical stimulation
5. Bioresonance and other energetic approaches

So, where does Homeopathy fit in?
This is probably the question many of you will be asking.
Homeopathy is often described as vibrational medicine or frequency medicine. We know that the remedies themselves - especially those from 30C up - contain only minute traces of the original material, and the act of succussion (shaking) potentises the remedy and creates the energetic signature of the original substance.
The more dilute the remedy, the stronger the potency. (Potency is anything from 1C right through to 1,000,000C - MM).
This is what makes Homeopathy so powerful and yet so gentle. It resonates or vibrates with the body and ignites the body’s own healing mechanism.
Is Homeopathy alone, enough?
This is where things have changed for me recently. I have seen incredible shifts with using Homeopathy alone. And, in many situations, Homeopathy alone IS enough.
However, after a recent experience using a PEMF wellness device, the P90+, I could see for myself how beautifully this technology - pulsed electromagnetic field therapy with terra hertz - complements Homeopathy beautifully and is an incredible healing tool in its own right.
Using Tesla technology, these new devices are packing a powerful punch when it comes to health and wellbeing - with recent studies showing that PEMF is not only useful for injury recovery, better sleep and relaxation, relief from pain, stress and tension, cellular hydration and detox and improved circulation amongst other things - it’s also an effective treatment for cancer.
Yes, you heard that right. This technology can treat cancer.

Given how many people are suffering from cancer these days, (don’t mention the elephant in the room….), I think this is something worth shouting about.
I’m now incorporating PEMF healing in my practice on a regular basis, and I find it complements Homeopathy beautifully. In fact, in my experiments so far, using the device after taking a remedy seems to enhance the healing action of the remedy, with the remedy working even faster than normal.
The great thing is, these machines are readily available worldwide, and you don’t have to be a Homeopath or study for years to be able to use them and utilise their healing power.

I offer PEMF healing sessions at my clinic on the Hibiscus Coast in Auckland, as a stand-alone treatment and add on to a Homeopathic consultation. If you’re local and want to give it try, book online here.
